Great News :3

I have been SO busy and stressed this week, despite it being Spring break. It's so amazing to be out of school, but having to deal with scholarship and financial aid stuff is STRESSFUL to the max. However! Yesterday, I went and looked at my financial aid offer from my college and I GOT THE MAX FROM THE PELL GRANT!! That's literally $7,395 A YEAR. AND I'M ALREADY GETTING $8,000 A YEAR. I haven't even gotten my scholarships back yet! Only the one the college automatically offers you based on test scores, and that's what the $8k is from. I just feel so lucky, 70% of my school is paid for.

Side note, my college estimated that I'm going to be spending $1.2k on books and supplies for one year? And nearly $2.6k on transportation? Now... I feel like I have a higher percent of my college paid for because that's actually ridiculous numbers. For school supplies for 1 year? Well, actually, now that I'm thinking about it, I could get a laptop... that would be very useful in college. And for transportation I'm most likely going to be riding with friends.

I know I haven't been updating my site very much lately, but I'm going to be more active soon! I just gotta finish writing a whole buncha scholarship stuff before the 1st. Also I never disclosed my major I don't think! I'm going into physics! I love math so much, and I love learning about the way the world works. That's partially why I'm an occultist. I'm personally also a mundane before magical type of person, so learning about physics will DEFINITELY affect my spiritual beliefs and my practice.

I'm feeling very talkative today, so I must say that I'm deathly excited for summer to begin. Weather-wise, I really don't like summer a lot. It gets so muggy down here in the summer, but I'll be out of school, and able to focus on my interests again. I LOVE LEARNING LANGUAGES. Living in the South, I've been taught Spanish since I was like 6, never really retained any of it. But I'm not super interested in Spanish. However! When I was 11, I started learning Japanese up until I was almost 14, but I had started high school at that point. I was homeschooled in middle school, so I had lots of time to sit down and study what I was interested in. I got actually very good at the language, to the point where I could read the kana like it was English letters. I should have never stopped. I should have sacrificed stupid A honor roll for what I truly wanted in life. And I was also learning German, and learning how to read Cyrillic, and this entire time I've been interested in learning Japanese, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Chinese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi, and genuinely just everything I think. But It's so hard to study languages properly while being in high school. I'm sure in college, IRONICALLY, I will have more free time. I'm very excited for my future.
