WHY IS LIFE SO CRAZY HELP. This past Sunday my partner and I were on our way to thrift together. I was visiting for a couple days and all my stuff was already packed in his car, since I was going home afterwards. So we're on the highway, he's driving perfectly normally, in his lane, going the same speed as other cars etc, when all of a sudden an 18-WHEELER DECIDES TO SLAM INTO US FROM THE LEFT. AND JUST DRIVE OFF ALSO. The driver side airbags went off, and there was a pretty big dent in the side of the car. Thankfully though, he was pretty much fine except for a couple marks and him not being able to hear from his left ear even up till now cause of the airbag (😭) but we went to the ER and he was fine :3 I was completely untouched, literally nothing, thankfully. But that was freaking scary as crap.
Also I really need to buy the new WoW expansion... I've just been procrastinating. Also, something crazy to me is that with the addition of playing housing in the game ZILLOW paired up with WoW?? What. Anyway that's...

I have been SO busy and stressed this week, despite it being Spring break. It's so amazing to be out of school, but having to deal with scholarship and financial aid stuff is STRESSFUL to the max. However! Yesterday, I went and looked at my financial aid offer from my college and I GOT THE MAX FROM THE PELL GRANT!! That's literally $7,395 A YEAR. AND I'M ALREADY GETTING $8,000 A YEAR. I haven't even gotten my scholarships back yet! Only the one the college automatically offers you based on test scores, and that's what the $8k is from. I just feel so lucky, 70% of my school is paid for.
Side note, my college estimated that I'm going to be spending $1.2k on books and supplies for one year? And nearly $2.6k on transportation? Now... I feel like I have a higher percent of my college paid for because that's actually ridiculous numbers. For school supplies for 1 year? Well, actually, now that I'm thinking about it, I could get a laptop... that would be very useful in college. And for transportation I'm most likely going to be riding with friends.
I know I haven't been updating my site very much lately, but I'm going to be more active soon! I just gotta finish writing a whole buncha scholarship stuff before the 1st. Also I never disclosed my major I don't think! I'm going into physics! I love math so much, and I love learning about the way the world works. That's partially why I'm an occultist. I'm personally also a mundane before magical type of person, so learning about physics...
Spring Yay!

It's Springtime YAAAY! My favorite time of the year is the awkward transitory period between Winter and Spring where the sun is shining but there's still a sharpness in the air, and where things still seem bleak but if you look close enough, you can see the initial bloomings of life within the natural world. This year, however, it went from 80 degrees one day to snowing the next, then the next day after that back to sunshine and warmth.
It's around this time of the year when I scavenge my yard for wildflowers, berries, and fungi. There are some that never return, and some that return each year. My favorite regulars are Spiderwort, Violets, Lantanas, Honeysuckle, and white Azaleas. Some years, I find and cook up green onions or Dandelion greens. It helps me to feel more grounded.
I had my senior prom a few days ago, and I'm planning on posting pictures from there once I get the pictures back! The next day, I went on a 3-day long trip with my partner to the college they go to, which is also the one I plan on going to in the fall. It was a very pleasant experience! I tend to struggle with eating enough, I love eating and I feel perfectly secure in my body and everything, I just have an appetite that matches my motivation to get up and cook and I HATE cooking. Roommates

I'm going into college this fall, and I've been looking for a roommate, but it's kinda hard to be honest. I haven't often been in the position of starting conversations with people, I usually wait for people to talk to me first. It's especially scary when the topic of religion comes up, and even though the people I'm actively talking to are agnostic or atheistic, they still tend to seem a little frightened or concerned when I tell them that I'm non-religious, but practice the occult.
I hear from older practicioners all the time that its best to keep your practice hidden and to not reveal it to others, even those you know well, but honestly I'm torn. On one hand, on a personal level, hiding it from others reduces conflict and people seeing you a certain way due to prejudice. But also, I'm a huge advocate against religious and spiritual discrimination, so often I don't hide it from people. I wish it was more normalized, and it slowly is getting more and more normalized, but in the Bible Belt, real life discussions about the occult with people who don't even believe in God or anything at all can feel strained.
Often they initially get a look on their face, or ask something like, "Oh... what does that entail?" as if they think I'm sacrificing animals to curse my opps every weekend. I have to explain and explain and be like, "Well, it's a more philosophical thing..." and all that sort of stuff. At that point I don't even dare explain to them what my theurgy entails... how am I supposed to tell these people I work with demons at that point...

Hii!! This is my first ever blog post on this site. I love writing SO much! I'm not quite sure yet what I'm going to be writing about, or even if its going to be anything in particular, but I'm very excited to start writing.
I've been drifting away from social media recently because of how awful it is... I know that's a common opinion on Neocities, and personally, social media disturbs me. TikTok will recommend me to search something offensive or graphic, just to increase my time on the app, and I'm really sick of it. I know some things are important to hear, like on the news, but it gets to a point where all it does is dampen my mood.
I'm also SICK and TIRED of waiting however long for customization on social media, yeah sure on Instagram I can make a little avatar!! BUT WHO EVEN ASKED FOR THAT? It SUCKS and it's so lifeless and boring. The second I stepped foot on Neocities and skimmed through some of the sites on here I was enamored. I've always been a pretty anti-peopley person, but this site makes me realize that I love people. It's easy to feel uninterested in people when all you see from their online presence is dull and lacking of personality, but the free sort of human expression on Neocities is something sincerely beautiful that the modern internet lacks. Every site on here intrigues me, not simply the code or the creative process, but it gives me interest for the person creating the site...
